Landscape & Lawn Care Tips

  • Follow us on Facebook, Google, LinkedIn, Twitter and YouTube. Click Here for a gallery of our projects.
  • When planting container plants, make the hole 3 times as big as the pot, don't plant too deep & water thoroughly.
  • Fall is the perfect time for planting. When using soil amendment, amend the entire root zone.
  • March is the ideal time for Pre-Emergent Weed Control.
  • April is the time to start removing dead growth from warm season turf grasses.
  • For proper tree mulching techniques, be sure to eliminate any turf or weeds under the tree canopy. Then mulch the area with 4" or less using the mulch of your choice.
  • The ideal overnight temps should be in the 40 to 70 degree range, when seeding with Fescue in the fall!
  • Leaf litter makes a valuable addition to a compost pile, which in turn, is a great way to recycle mother nature's materials.
